However, it is not recommended for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues due to its specific absorption and strength properties.

This suture offers ease of knot tying combined with excellent knot security from the first throw, enhancing surgical efficiency and reliability. Its coated surface allows for smooth passage through tissue, minimizing trauma during suturing. The braided structure provides flexibility and strength, suitable for delicate yet secure tissue approximation.

The suture maintains approximately 50% of its tensile strength after three weeks, providing sufficient support during the critical phases of wound healing. Complete mass absorption occurs within 56 to 76 days, ensuring the suture material is fully resorbed and minimizing long-term tissue reaction. This makes it advantageous for procedures where temporary wound support is required.
